Whispering Pines Fire Department Auxiliary
The Whispering Pines Fire District Auxiliary was organized in 1981 by Darlene Reiland, Virginia Wiley and Gloria Green. The purpose of the organization is to support the Fire District and to promote neighbor-to-neighbor interactions. Auxiliary members hold several fund-raising events each year and use the funds to pay for such things as uniforms and equipment for the volunteer fire fighters, equipment for the fire station, and certain building upgrades, such as the new windows purchased during 2008.
The Whispering Pines Fire District Auxiliary is pleased to announce that the monthly pancake breakfasts have begun (Second Saturday, 8 - 10 AM). The menu will include PANCAKES, BACON, SAUSAGE, SAUSAGE GRAVY AND BISCUITS, ORANGE JUICE AND COFFEE. Also, their will be a CRAFT SALE during the breakfast. --- SEE YOU THERE!!
